NORTH TEXAS NONPROFIT ANNOUNCES REIMAGINED ANNUAL EVENTS

My Possibilities, along with Alliance Data and Berry Family Services, introduce A Very Special Evening

April 28, 2020 – PLANO, TX – My Possibilities, a leader in vocational education for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in North Texas, invites you to A Very Special Evening, a new event concept for the organization.

Due to COVID-19 and the safety of all attendees, the organization elected to reimagine the annual gala, Community Ball and annual entertainment event, A Special Evening, utilizing exciting elements from both events to create A Very Special Evening. The organization promises an evening full of entertainment including a performance by Wayne Brady, to a silent auction and dancing, and much more.

A Very Special Evening will aid in furthering our mission to support individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in the North Texas area, and give our community a novel and memorable night to celebrate these hugely important people and promote inclusion for all individuals. This event will raise necessary fund for educational and vocational programming at My Possibilities.

“COVID-19 has presented many interesting challenges for My Possibilities,” said Jeanine Alpert, director of community engagement. “We’re looking forward to a new event concept and bringing everyone together to celebrate overcoming this season.”
