The application process allows the Admissions team, the applicant, and the applicant’s family to determine whether My Possibilities can best meet the needs of the prospective student (HIPster).
For admissions consideration, My Possibilities has established the following requirements:
Step 1:
Access the application and submit through the admissions portal. Applications are processed in the order received. Make sure to upload the required documents in order for the application to process.
If you would like to schedule a tour, you may do so by logging into the admissions portal.
Step 2:
Submit the non-refundable application fee of $250, here, or pay by check.
Mail to the attention of Admissions at 3601 Mapleshade Lane Plano, 75075.
Step 3:
Admissions interview – once we receive the application, you can schedule the admissions interview through the admissions portal. You must pay the application fee one week before the scheduled interview. If we have not received payment, we will have to reschedule the interview.
During the admissions interview, we will review the application and supporting documents, get to know the applicant, and talk about how to best support them. The applicant and his/her family will also have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have. At the conclusion of the appointment, we will make a determination as to the next steps in the process.
Step 4:
After the admissions interview, if the applicant is accepted, they will begin the next steps of enrollment.
Connect with any Support Services (if needed) as discussed in the admissions interview.
Step 5:
Submit all enrollment paperwork, connect with staff nurse (if applicable), and provide source of funding. Return all enrollment paperwork within two weeks of request.
Once we receive all the paperwork, the Admissions team will reach out to determine a start date. We kindly request that the start date are within two months.
Step 6:
Begin HIPster Journey!
My Possibilities accepts Medicaid Waiver Funding (HCS, CLASS, TxHML, DBMD, ICF, and General Revenue) and/or private pay.
If government funds are required for payment, contract and approvals must be in place prior to the commencement of enrollment.
